Oh my, OH my, O.H. M.Y.!!!!
I have just found heaven.
Not kidding at all!!
I've told you before that I love candy bars so when I saw a recipe for this beauty I knew I had to try it especially because my 9 year old loves Butterfingers probably more than I do.
This was amazing. We all loved it and it is definitely a keeper and will be made over and over again. My brother and his wife was visiting and we convinced them to have some because we just couldn't have it around anymore. This sat in the freezer and called to me the entire time--it took all my self control to not eat more 3 pieces.
Sad I know but so very true! So do yourself a favor and make you tummy some and it will love you forever.
Frozen Butterfinger Pie
Chocolate or Oreo pre-made Crust
8 oz block cream cheese, softened
1/2 of a 14 oz can of sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup powdered sugar
8 oz tub Cool Whip, thawed
3 full size Butterfinger candy bars, chopped coarsely
1. In the bowl of a mixer, combine cream cheese, condensed milk, peanut butter, and powdered sugar. Beat on medium until smooth and completely combined, about 1-2 minutes
2. Using a rubber spatula, fold in the Cool Whip until combined. Add chopped candy and fold again until distributed evenly.
3. Pour mixture into pie crust. Cover and freeze until firm, about 3-4 hours. Serve with additional chopped candy bars and whipped cream if wanted. Enjoy!!
